As I'm pretty sure you know, most schools are forced to reduce or cut budgets given for the artistic side of education: art, music, theatre, dance, etc. That's because those stuff are so low in the hierarchy of education. On top, you have things like mathematics and language, in the middle, the humanities and the sciences, and right at the bottom, you have the fine and performing arts. Now that's a problem. Do you know why that's a problem?
By nature, we humans are, by nature, creative beings. What happens the school system is built with tremendous emphasis on the top of the educational hierarchy, which leaves very little room for the lower part. And what happens is that with the emphasis on the mathematics and language, the children are taught not to make mistakes, which severely limits a child's creativity. You see, part of creativity is that tiny off-chance that you will make a mistake. You will screw up. Chances are you understand that this mistake is meant for you to learn. But since they're making you afraid to make mistakes, you will be less likely to take that chance to make a mistake. Also, for people who possess incredible talents in the arts such as visual art, music, or theatre, they are asked to ignore what they have and go through the boring monotony of mathematics and language. Especially at the young age, if these children are going through the rigid school system that does not allow any room for these children to move around, they will get bored with it and do other things, things dicouraged from that rigid school system. And what ends up happening is that the teachers will think they're something wrong with them. And that's just an entire rambling on its own. So that's it for today. Thank you.
So that's my rant on our public education.

Back to School
Yes. I'm back. Hooray! Let's all get pissed and watch porn. Well you lot can. Unfortunately I have this thing called school that I have to go in three hours or so. So I really can't join your partying. At some point today or tomorrow. I'm going to ask myself why the hell I woke up at 1:33 in the morning when I should be sleeping. But that point isn't now. Thus I'm just sitting here waiting for the moment where I crash to come. It's not coming....yet.
