A contre-courant

It means two things. One. It means against the current in French. Two. It's the title of a French pop song that I liked by Alizée. Well actually it's my favourite song from that particular album but never mind that. Kind of random, but the first meaning is going to be relevant...soon.

I can never seem to find a good reason why I should stay up until 11 to go to bed. It's not like I have mountains of homework that I need to do (well I do but hush about that). But since I don't have one, I might as well find one. I'm writing this. Yeah, very irresponsible of me to do that, especially when I have a biology and chemistry test tomorrow. But they're oddly easy. The biology is just about digestion, pathology, and defense. While the chemistry one is on water pollution. Shouldn't be too hard, should it?

Anyways, the reason why the phrase "A contre-courant" is important because that's what I am. I'm always against the current or the crowd. I think much differently than them, with really different results and actions. Which, occasionally, will get scary. But take for example, art. Most of my ideas were those that were never thought of or used before in my art class. And of course everyone's ideas are unique but mine..seem to deviate even that. But yeah, I don't think I'll be going to bed anytime soon since I'm photoshopping right now. Speaking of that, I have some gorgeous banners of Owen Harper from Torchwood.


Isn't he gorgeous? Well to me, at least. I just love that guy. Anyways, I have to go...bye-bye.

What is the Purpose of Life?

Now I'm not really fussed on what you believe. Just..what is the purpose of life? Why are you living and why do you wake up every day. I'll share mine...later. But for now, what do you think is the purpose of life?

Torchwood

Outside the government, beyond the police. And currently on my all-time favourite telly show to watch. Oh yeah!

I just saw, by happy chance, the latest Torchwood episode and it is fantastic! For those of you who have no idea what Torchwood is, it's a television show which is a spin-off of another television show, Doctor Who. Long story short, Torchwood deals with alien threats and the accompanied things in Cardiff. The team itself is just amazing. I'll bring up some graphics of them sometime in the near future. Right now, I have my last bloody exam to study for. Biology and general opinion said it was ranged from sort of easy to extremely hard. Not good news for me. I think I didn't do so well on mon exam de chemie (excuse my French, I was always rubbish in that class). So adieu!

Well, Friends

I am proud to announce to you I am the complete opposite of the usual stereotype. Rather being incredibly skilled in math, you will find that I am mediocre at best and at worst, completely horrible. I think that's because I spend half of my math classes drawing rather than studying. Well the way that you know I'm not the usual Asian stereotype was from yesterday's math competition. (yes I know. Math competitions are for nerds but you have some fun in it). I got one of the lowest scores in the entire competition. Don't I feel so proud. Anyways I have work to do so farewell.

Did you enjoy your day back at school after the winter holidays? You bet I did. Not really, no. I got the oh-so-lovely-welcome-back-homework load. Not too bad actually. I was spared from holiday work, thank heavens. But nevertheless, school's started. And I can't tell whether that's a good thing or not. It all depends...
